Austevoll Fiskefor AS are ensured stable supplies of raw materials through Austevoll Havfiske. This year will see the completion of a project that has demanded considerable resources and a high level of expertise to develop a new type of feed that will enable commercial ecological production of salmon. A quantity of such salmon will be ready for delivery during the course of the year. Full production will be possible from the year 2001.
Brødrene Sperre AS was founded by our family ancestors in 1945 - now building on three generations of experience. Processing of dried salted fish since 1945. Processing of frozen pelagic fish since early 1950's. Traditions in export of Seafood Products since early 1960's. The oceans surrounding Norway are among the richest fishing-grounds throughout the world. We receive seafood from these waters as a basis for our activities. Our own private harbor installations enables us to receive raw materials directly from fishing-vessels to our production facilities, and further into our own cold- and chilled-air stores. This can be done independently from any third part - and at the same time as we load cargo ships, trucks or containers for shipment to any part of the world.
Coast Seafood AS Coast Group is a co-operative network of fish farming companies, which covers the field from smolt production to end product and its marketing. The Group's headquarters and sales office (Coast Seafood) are at Måløy on the west of Norway.
Fjord Seafood - The Norwegian marine farming industry has seen an amazing rate of growth over the last 20-30 years, from a turnover close to zero, to today's level of 10 billion Norwegian kroner. The owners of Fjord Seafood ASA have been very active Mid-Norwegian participants all through this process. Fjord Seafood is the story of 10-12 Mid-Norwegian fish farmers who, a couple of years ago, were running separate operations with 1-3 concessions each. Now we have consolidated forces through amalgamation and other ownership constellations. In the short space of just 2 years, the Group has increased the number of concessions, employees and turnover tenfold.
Fossen AS , and the
daughter Bjornøy Fiskeoppdrett AS, is one of the pioneers in Norwagian
fishfarming. The company was founded in 1973, but already in 1972 we started
farming with trout and salmon.
At Valestrandsfossen at Osterøy outside Bergen we started in 1978 producing
smoked and brine-cured trout and salmon, and today we are the largest producer
of this seafood in Norway.
Grieg Seafood AS Grieg Seafood is a fully integrated producer of salmon. Our brood stock stems from Aqua Gen, and thereby have complete control over the quality from the fish egg to fully grown salmon. They are Norwegian salmon grower with full control over production process, from fish egg to finished product. This allows full traceability and accountability. Halvard Lerøy AS is a pioneer in distribution of fish and fishproducts. The company is originated in Bergen, the Hansa city that ever since the Middle Ages has been a center for international trade with fish. Møre Codfish Comp AS was founded in Kristiansund in 1956. After reorganization in1972, we moved to Ålesund. Originally astablished purely as an export company, we have in recent branched out to develop years extensive production of salted and dried fish and fresh/frozen fish from our own plants.

Nutreco bought in the year 2000 the company Hydro Seafood, and today they remain 15% of the Norwegian market for fishfarming.

Vardø ble startet som AS Vega was built in 1938 as a fishmeal factory, with
the advent of World War II production was spasmodic.AS Vega started prawn
production in April 1979. The company came under the acquisition of new
ownership in 1981 and the name changed to Seafood Vardø AS.

Fish-powder and extracts. It is our defined target to become an considerable
actor in the areas fish-powder for human consumption. Silfas have produced
high-quality powder from a new factory from autumn 2001.
Silfas has been producing fish meal and fish oil for more than 90 years. The factories have undergone major reconstruction several times, and production processes are continually being upgraded in order to raise levels of efficiency. New products have also led to investments in new technology. In technological terms the production equipment and processes utilised in Norwegian fish oil plants are among the best in the industry. Ragnv. Naero AS is located in Heroy , Norway’s largest fishery community. It is just south of Aalesund on Norway’s west coast. Established in 1946 as Ragnv. Naero & sons by Ragnvald Naero, Sr. The company is now the largest producer of SMOKED HERRING in Norway. We supply 65% of the total production of the EU approved smoked herring shipped from Norway.
Rolf Olsen Group AS - The Rolf Olsen Group is one of the oldest import/export companies in Norway. The company is situated in Bergen, the oldest commercial city in Norway, a former "Hanseatic" town situated strategically on the west coast. In 1891, Rplf Olsen, the group's founder, started packing and exporting salted herring to the European marked. In 1915 he started importing salt to Norway and in 1975, more or less at the birth og salmon farming industry, the Rolf Olsen Group began processing and exporting farmed salmon. Today, the Rolf Olsen Group exports farmed salmon products to markets all over the world and imports salt and chemicals for distribution all over Norway

A/S Aalesundfisk is a consortium of 15 companies. They are engaged in the catching, rearing, processing, sales and distribution. This ensures high quality products from catch to store.
