Austevoll Fiskefor AS are ensured stable supplies of raw materials through Austevoll Havfiske. This year will see the completion of a project that has demanded considerable resources and a high level of expertise to develop a new type of feed that will enable commercial ecological production of salmon. A quantity of such salmon will be ready for delivery during the course of the year. Full production will be possible from the year 2001.
Coast Seafood AS Coast Group is a co-operative network of fish farming companies, which covers the field from smolt production to end product and its marketing. The Group's headquarters and sales office (Coast Seafood) are at Måløy on the west of Norway.

of the global market leaders within fish feed for salmon and trout, with a
market share of nearly 40%. The Group is also a significant player in the fish
farming industry after the acquisition of fish farming companies in Scotland,
Canada and Chile.
Fjord Seafood - The Norwegian marine farming industry has seen an amazing rate of growth over the last 20-30 years, from a turnover close to zero, to today's level of 10 billion Norwegian kroner. The owners of Fjord Seafood ASA have been very active Mid-Norwegian participants all through this process. Fjord Seafood is the story of 10-12 Mid-Norwegian fish farmers who, a couple of years ago, were running separate operations with 1-3 concessions each. Now we have consolidated forces through amalgamation and other ownership constellations. In the short space of just 2 years, the Group has increased the number of concessions, employees and turnover tenfold.
Fossen AS , and the
daughter Bjornøy Fiskeoppdrett AS, is one of the pioneers in Norwagian
fishfarming. The company was founded in 1973, but already in 1972 we started
farming with trout and salmon.
At Valestrandsfossen at Osterøy outside Bergen we started in 1978 producing
smoked and brine-cured trout and salmon, and today we are the largest producer
of this seafood in Norway.
Grieg Seafood AS Grieg Seafood is a fully integrated producer of salmon. Our brood stock stems from Aqua Gen, and thereby have complete control over the quality from the fish egg to fully grown salmon. They are Norwegian salmon grower with full control over production process, from fish egg to finished product. This allows full traceability and accountability. Halvard Lerøy AS is a pioneer in distribution of fish and fishproducts. The company is originated in Bergen, the Hansa city that ever since the Middle Ages has been a center for international trade with fish. This is where the company was founded in 1939, and Bergen is still the main base for its business.
AS Kvernsmolt is one of the leading company within Norwegian fishfarming. We take care of the whole process from smolt to fishfarming, harvesting and production. The company was founded in 1980, and has become a modern and flexible fishfarming company
Nutreco bought in the year 2000 the company Hydro Seafood, and today they remain 15% of the Norwegian market for fishfarming.
Pan Fish AS - Pan Fish is a Norwegian based, vertically- integrated fish farming company,specializing in raising and marketing of high quality Atlantic salmon and trout, available worldwide.
Rolf Olsen Group AS - The Rolf Olsen Group is one of the oldest import/export companies in Norway. The company is situated in Bergen, the oldest commercial city in Norway, a former "Hanseatic" town situated strategically on the west coast. In 1891, Rplf Olsen, the group's founder, started packing and exporting salted herring to the European marked. In 1915 he started importing salt to Norway and in 1975, more or less at the birth og salmon farming industry, the Rolf Olsen Group began processing and exporting farmed salmon. Today, the Rolf Olsen Group exports farmed salmon products to markets all over the world and imports salt and chemicals for distribution all over Norway
Sea Star International AS serves clients worldwide, and is a major and important participant in the Norwegian fishing industry. A/S Aalesundfisk is a consortium of 15 companies. They are engaged in the catching, rearing, processing, sales and distribution. This ensures high quality products from catch to store. Aalesundfisk' main office is located in Ålesund, where distribution, sales and marketing activities are co-ordinated. The Group employs approximately 200 employees.
